Corrales Harvest Festival

We went to the Corrales Harvest Festival today with our friends the Bishops and the Kurtzes. The girls had a ball getting their faces and wrists painted, playing on the inflatable jumpers, and eating your basic festival fare like kettle corn and ice cream. Frank enjoyed the 5k run that morning and we all enjoyed shopping at the Corrales Grower's Market and eating fresh apples while listening to a local Texas Swing band.

Jenna's Walking!

Jenna took her first unaided steps on Thursday (at daycare no less!) She has been practicing, and on Saturday she made amazing leaps and is walking from furniture piece to furniture piece all the time! Go Jenna!

Labor Day

My parents came down for a short visit over Labor Day. We had a great time! We enjoyed the New Mexico Wine Festival, grilling steaks and smores out back, and of course, just hanging out and being together.

Girls' Week!

The girls and I took a weeklong trip to visit my sister in her new home in New York. My mom also flew out for the week, and we had a long overdue 'Girls' Week'! It was wonderful to see everyone! We also got to New Jersey to visit our cousins. Hopefully we can all do it again soon!

Vacation!

We took a road trip out west for our vacation this summer. We visited so many wonderful places including Arches National Park, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Monterey, Santa Cruz, Yosemite, and even Death Valley. It was a wonderful time, and we can't wait until the next family trip!

Jenna's 1st Birthday!

On July 14th we had a 1st birthday party for Jenna. She loved spending time with all her little friends and being the center of attention :) Nonna and Grandpa Klimas were in town, which made the day extra special.

We got the girls' pictures taken today at Kiddie Kandids! It was Jenna's one-year pic. We also got some cute ones of Zoe and the girls together :)

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July! We watched the parade in Corrales with some friends and spent a day eating, relaxing, and enjoying some fireworks. Zoe did not like the fireworks too much this year (at least not the ones we set off ourselves), but she still had a great day eating smores and playing with her new friend Mychal.
